Who we are *
With over 20 years experience working in the Arts; curator, gallery manager, trustee and artist-mentor Rachel Oteng-Lartey, set up Three Sisters Art to honour her three daughters who have been alongside her at Art Fairs, installations and public art commissioning roles for the majority of her career to date.
Rachel is passionate about representing female identifying artists especially those who face barriers to succeeding in Art careers due to caregiving commitments, she understands often impractical advice of ‘apply for artist-in residence schemes’, ‘network at late night events’ or ‘pay for expensive postgraduate training’ isn’t always an option for those who have their time, money and attention pulled elsewhere.
Rachel also has a love of traditional craftsmanship and artistic talent from the African continent and its’ Diaspora with a special interest in works that combine traditional mythologies and craft practices with contemporary narratives.
She is currently seeking new submissions of interest for working with a small select group of Artists in 2026- do send over a link to your portfolio/instagram along with a short personal statement to Rachel@threesisters.art for consideration for our 2026 programme.
